About Rizal Park, Luneta

One of the largest urban parks in Asia, Rizal Park is the final resting place of Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, and a sacred site for many Filipinos martyred during the Spanish colonial era.
Various development projects have introduced International Gardens, art galleries, park attractions, and cultural programs such as Concert at the Park. The NPDC continues to rekindle its glory as a true people's park where Filipino families can commune with nature and have fun.
THINGS TO DO AROUND THE PARK
Zumba Sessions
Regularly held from 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM with local fitness squads. Free or low-cost, open-air sessions at Mabini Hall, Japanese Garden, and Kanlungan ng Sining.
Tai-Chi & Arnis
From 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM near the Chinese Garden or Noli Me Tangere Garden. A free, community-driven practice across the 58-hectare park.
Rizal Park Guided Tours
The NPDC occasionally hosts themed guided walks covering the Rizal Monument, Chinese/Japanese Gardens, and musical fountains.
Holy Mass at Ermita Church
Along M.H. del Pilar Street — the Archdiocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora De Guia, home to the oldest Marian image in the Philippines.
